Ionium is an early stage family office fund.  Our focus is strictly life science investments, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals, medical SAS, immunology, regenerative medicine, and DNA or RNA therapies.  We have expertise in company formation, early-stage funding coalitions, and preclinical and early clinical development.  We have years of hand-on experience with licensing, intellectual property, due diligence, and venture funding.  Our founder has formed and managed multiple companies, and understands the needs of early stage biotech.

We often invest with angel groups, super angels, and VCs.  Our investment goal is to move our portfolio companies from startup mode to major funding rounds, with a singular focus on achieving significant value inflection points prior to subsequent rounds, potential partnerships, or exits.    We can help bring follow-on investors and partners to the table with our many contacts in the VC, private equity, angel, and investment banking communities.

Qualifying opportunities will typically have experienced management in place and a potential exit within 5 years.
